regular days.

i want them to stay little.
i want charlotte to not turn three on the 10th of march. i never want her hands to stop looking like chubby baby hands with those fat dimples.
i wish for tommy never to grow too old to play. to forever be spiderman or batman. to forever want to dress up as a superhero and save the day. to always tell me “i love you up up up to your heart, mama”.

this one will be 7 soon. i want her always to have a kind heart and always be everyones friend. she also still calls me “mama”. i never want to be mom. i refuse to believe these aren’t the best days of parenting. only because i want them to stay little.

cheese.

These are some of the best days when they are this age…embrace the moments; cherish them. They grow up way too soon.

Oh I understand this all too well!! My “baby” will be 12 and my oldest 14 this year. It goes by so fast. I love these photos–especially under the bedspread 🙂

Gorgeous images! And oh so true words – if only we could…

I understand, it just happens to fast. As much as each day and phase is completely wonderful, there are days I want my babies to stay little so bad it hurts. My first baby turned 7 this past fall, and my baby turns 3 on April 1st. where did the time go?

Love the images! My oldest turns 13 this year – so hard to believe.

Mine is about to turn 6 in May and I am feeling the same as you lately. It really is bittersweet to watch them grow up. Beautiful pictures and gorgeous kiddos 🙂
