without fear & without shame.

“We are spinning a story of what it is to grow up. It’s a complicated story and sometimes we try to take on the grand themes: anger, love, death, sensuality and beauty. Without fear and without shame. ”
– Sally Mann

i debated if i should post this photograph or not. i didn’t pose my daughter or ask her to do this, she was running around, as is. i grabbed my camera and just took some photographs.
that is what i want my art to be about. i want to do things without fear, without fear of being judged. without fear of perfection and what others will think of my work.
truth be told, this is my art. my life. my love.

this is what this new name, new site, new start is all about. i was doing things with fear. fear of being judged and fear of clients not liking my images or not liking me.
staying “normal”.

i’m not perfect, neither is my photography. i want it to be raw and beautiful. if it only makes me happy, than that is enough for me.

this is me. as is.
